Who are you?
You are looking to kickstart your accounting career with real-world experience. Join C&N as an Accounting Intern for Summer 2025! As an intern, you will work alongside experienced professionals, assisting with financial reporting, reconciliations, and data analysis while learning about regulatory compliance and internal controls. You’ll gain exposure to various accounting functions, develop analytical skills, and enhance your understanding of the role accounting plays in banking operations. You will be responsible for:
- Financial Reporting & Reconciliations: Assist with preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accuracy in financial records.
- Data Analysis & Process Improvement: Analyze financial data, identify trends, and support process improvement initiatives.
- Regulatory Compliance & Internal Controls: Learn about financial regulations, assist with audits, and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable Support: Assist in processing transactions, reviewing invoices, and maintaining accurate records.
- Capstone Project: Complete a project that aligns with your interests, such as financial statement analysis or an internal process review.
Requirements:
Education & Experience – You should be at least a junior in college, pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. No prior experience required, but coursework in financial accounting and familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
This internship is full-time with an anticipated start on Monday, May 19th, and will last a total of 12 weeks with an anticipated end date of Friday, August 8th.
