Position Overview
As a Shipping Lead, you are part of the Shipping team that ensures the shipping functions at your facility run in an efficient manner to guarantee customer satisfaction.Job Description
Description
- Distribute outbound loads to the Selectors for selection of product
- Ensure that trailers are at the correct doors in a timely fashion
- Communicate trailer temperature needs and verify as correct
- Work with the Warehouse management to ensure all dispatch times are met for outbound loads
- Work with the Shipping Clerks to closely manage all shipping functions
- Enter and adjust information in the WMS system to ensure accurate information is transmitted to the necessary personnel
- There may be other duties assigned to you as needed by your supervisor
