What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Yard Coordinator position at C&W Trucking and Sons, Inc.?
Job Duties
- Work Shift hours of 11:00am-8:00pm
- Follow and execute all policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook
- Execute Safety Lane Checklist on all incoming and outgoing trucks and trailers
- Monitor Yard and Trucks on property to ensure Safety/Security of all Tractors on site
- Monitor Yard Trailers and Equipment to ensure the Safety/Security of products on site
- Assist shop foreman with any tasks related to yard management and safety lane
- Other duties as needs of the business arise
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in trucking industry and/or logistics management
- Skills in heavy equipment operation
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to yard safety practices
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job
