Entity Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) Worker Type Employee Worker Sub-Type Regular Cost Center CC004773 ORBG - Emergency Room Pay Rate Type Hourly Pay Grade Health-19 Scheduled Weekly Hours 36 Work Shift Job Description · Takes vital signs, height and weight · Performs EKG's · Assist physicians or nurses on all procedures · Takes post procedure vital signs when available · Monitors telemetry patients · Collects various specimens in the appropriate manner · Crutch training · Assist with ordering supplies · May perform Bladder Scans and inset Foley Catheters and will assist with elimination needs · Assists with processing admissions, transfers, and discharges · Assists with enemas not involving medications · Performs staple/suture removals · Performs Phlebotomy · Maintains Supply room and 02 tanks · Preceptor for new Technical Staff · Follows the Standards of Behaviors · Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned Additional Job Description Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma. Certification required as an EMT or CNA. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
