The Accounts Payable Administrator will be primarily responsible for job costing on various projects, while also supporting the team with various accounting tasks including but not limited to, processing invoices, managing corporate credit cards, managing fuel cards, gathering approvals and supporting with month and quarter end. Paid time off Competitive wages Growth opportunities What you'll do: Process a high volume of PO and Non PO invoices • Process employee expense reports with accuracy to ensure payment within a timely manner • Perform disposal invoice reconciliations • Complete month end AP close in a timely manner • Perform customer service functions by answering employee and vendor requests and questions via email and/or phone • Make photocopies, fax and scan documents and perform other clerical functions • Where necessary, assist in compiling data for various reports • Resolve invoice discrepancies with all departments • Liaise with other departments including controllers where there are invoices questions What's required: • Computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel (Intermediate level), and Outlook required • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude • Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills • Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all areas of work • Able to work well under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced work environment to meet deadlines with multiple interruptions • Solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse work environment as part of a team as well as independently • Strong morals and ethics, along with a commitment to staff privacy Join us and become part of "Team Green" at GFL Environmental, where your skills and dedication will be valued and rewarded.
