Job Summary:
C2 Vehicles is the largest distributor of golf carts and small-wheeled electric and gas vehicles in New England. As a Collections Specialist you will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding accounts receivable balances from customers in a timely and professional manner
Key Responsibilities:
· Monitor aging report and ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices.
· Contact Customers regarding past due balances via phone or email.
· Record customer transactions and updates in ERP for accurate account tracking
· Resolve payment discrepancies and customer queries in a timely and professional manner.
· Process incoming payments and apply them correctly to customer accounts.
· Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing or payment issues.
· Manage and follow up on COD transactions to confirm receipt of payment and resolve any discrepancies.
Qualifications
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Experience in accounts receivable, billing, or collections
· Proficiency in accounting software
· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Physical Requirements
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Ability to use a phone headset for extended periods.
· Visual acuity to read and enter data on a computer screen.
· Manual dexterity for typing and use of office equipment (keyboard, mouse, phone)
This is a temporary role with an estimated contract duration of approximately four to five months, with an average commitment of approximately 25 hours per week.
