As a Used Car Purchaser, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and acquiring vehicles primarily through Facebook Marketplace and other online platforms. Your goal is to identify high-value opportunities, secure vehicles at competitive prices, and contribute to the overall success and growth of the department.
Responsibilities
- Search Facebook Marketplace and other online platforms for vehicles that meet company criteria.
- Engage with sellers, negotiate deals, and secure vehicle purchases at the best possible prices.
- Conduct preliminary assessments of vehicle condition, history, and market value.
- Coordinate transportation or pickup of purchased vehicles.
- Maintain organized records of negotiations, purchases, and market trends.
- Collaborate with leadership to refine purchasing strategies and maximize profitability.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience buying and selling vehicles, particularly through Facebook Marketplace.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing great deals.
- Familiarity with vehicle values, market trends, and basic inspections.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Positive attitude and professional appearance.
