Position Overview
The Food and Beverage Supervisor directs the daily Food and Beverage operation for Chariot Run Golf Club in accordance with the standards set by Cabot-Managed Properties. The Food and Beverage Supervisor's responsibilities include maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability, and quality goals. This position will ensure efficiency within the restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. The Food and Beverage Supervisor will report directly to the club’s General Manager to maintain high levels of guest service and departmental excellence.
Essential Functions

- Assist the General Manager in all aspects of the day-to-day Restaurant and Bar Operations.
- Have flexibility in their schedule and is required to assist/adjust as needed.
- Supervise F&B staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance reviews.
- Establish and maintain responsibility for the cleanliness and appearance, and compliance of Health and Safety regulations of all Restaurant and Bar areas including the clubhouse, snack bar, beverage carts, storage areas, etc.
- Preserve above and beyond service standards to both internal and external guests.
- Work directly with the club’s management team on menu creation and implementation.
- With the Director of Food and Beverage and General Manager, manage line items to continually control food and beverage operating expenses.
- Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and unique restaurant offerings/events.
- Plan and implement a creative service program with variety and innovation, establishing both club’s reputation for high quality, creative service.
- Hire, discipline, and discharge F&B staff in coordination with the Director of Food and Beverage, the property’s General Manager, and Talent and Culture.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with departmental staff, other departments, and management. Work together with club department heads to develop a team-like approach to operating the club where a major emphasis is placed on problem discovery and solution.
- Project a positive favorable image for the property, CDN Golf Management, the press, guests, team members, and representatives from food and beverage vendors.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of 3 years of food and beverage experience in a high-volume facility in a supervisory capacity or equivalent.
- Excellent Organizational, Communication, Guest Service, & Leadership skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and events.
In addition, the ideal candidate will be or have:
- A bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, or a related field of study from an accredited university preferred.

Physical Demands
Ability to perform moderate physical work, may be required to lift 100 lbs. occasionally, up to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 20 lbs. constantly, performing such activities as bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, lifting, and grasping for up to five hours without sitting. This position operates around a restaurant setting. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The employee may be exposed to hazards including, but are not limited to, cuts, slipping, tripping, falls and burns. Frequent hand washing is required. Travel may be required to other CDN Facilities.
Supervises
Will be supervising all Food and Beverage employees.
Work Environment
This position will be primarily indoors.
