SUMMARY: Supervises and participates in all aspects of banqueting in the hotel dining establishments by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned by a manager or supervisor as needed.
- Adheres to all recipes, methods and direction per Brand Standards
- Makes sure all employees ensure the food prepared is of the highest quality
- Follows and understands all Banquet Event Order communications.
- Knowledge of Banquet room and table set-ups.
- Checks for guest satisfaction and additional needs.
- Is responsible for the Kitchen, dining room & Banquet area’s cleanliness, sanitation, and storage according to but not limited to Brand standards and local Health codes.
- Prepares banquet food and supplies orders per schedule
- Counts, records and analyzes current F & B inventory.
- Supervises and directs the work activities of all other kitchen & banquet staff associate in the completion of their normal daily responsibilities
- Participates in budget review discussions and is prepared to offer recommendations and solutions for process improvement.
- Attend BEO meeting every Wednesday or when necessary
- Maintains condition of the dining and banquet rooms, tables and chairs and all other supplies needed to properly execute food service. Reports any damaged items or items that need to be repaired or replaced.
