The Cache County Sheriff's Office is searching for a Control Room Operator to join our team! The Control Room Operator is a full-time, benefited position. All benefits start on the first day! Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401k, Utah Retirement System, 14 paid holidays and 18 days of Personal Leave in 1st year.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitors and operates the jail radio systems and observes video monitors and communicates on the intercom with inmate housing areas. Monitors inmate activities in housing cells and in the cell blocks, hallways, and every portion of the Jail, and ensures jail rules and regulations are enforced and inmates are in compliance. Maintains constant observation on suicide risk inmates/prisoners and other known inmate behavioral problems. Monitors inmates/prisoners as they move from the cells to other areas such as the exercise area, classrooms, interview rooms, etc. Please see the attached job description for a complete list of responsibilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from high school or GED; AND Sufficient experience to demonstrate an aptitude or ability to perform the above and related duties.
