Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Purchasing and Estimating Manager with 10 years in custom home building. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field, strong analytical skills, and experience managing budgets and estimating costs. You will work closely with our team, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed job budgets based on project specifications.
- Write specifications for bidding and contracting.
- Negotiate contracts with trade contractors.
- Manage job budgets, costing, and invoice approvals.
- Process change orders and manage project software (Builder Trend).
- Collaborate with the design and project management teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
- 10 years of experience in custom home building.
- Strong budget management and estimating skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Familiarity with Builder Trend is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
