Job Title : Assistant Pastry

Reports to : Lead Pastry
Job Purpose : Assists pastry team on all production items including garnishing pastries, organizing, and packing delivery orders in a timely manner. Assists with other bakery production as needed.
Duties :
- Follow Safe Food Handling Practices and Production SOP's
- Maintain pars of creams, glazes, syrups, and batters.
- Assist with dough handling and shaping
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitization standards of bakery production area and equipment.
- Adheres to dress code.
- Multitasks and adheres to a strict production schedule.
- Updates mixing and production logs throughout the shift to ensure consistency of baked goods.
- Maintains production logs and record keeping as required by SOP's
- Other similar duties as required
Skills / Qualifications :
Mise en Place
Knowledge on basic pastry production skills or previous pastry experience
Reading Formulas Experience adjusting formulas
Knowledge of and / or experience using production bakery equipment
Must be friendly and interactive with proven ability to work as a team
Previous experience working in a food production facility a plus
