Duties
- Maintain accurate financial records through general ledger accounting.
- Process accounts receivable and manage invoicing to ensure timely payments.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in budgeting processes and provide insights on financial forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax returns.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage for daily transactions and reporting.
- Perform 10 key typing for data entry tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate with management to identify areas for financial improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role with a strong grasp of technical accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks and Sage; familiarity with Quicken is a plus.
- Strong skills in accounts receivable management and financial report writing.
- Excellent budgeting skills with the ability to analyze financial data effectively.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player when necessary.
- Knowledge of tax regulations is preferred but not mandatory.
