Compensation

Hourly base pay rate is $23.17 - $34.81/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

• Install lift gate systems on various types of commercial trailers and trucks
• Run wiring for solar panels, electronic equipment and other trailer systems
• Install and troubleshooting hydraulic plumbing and associated components
• Perform work in an efficient and quality manner without compromising your safety or that of those around you.
• Use basic hand tools, precision instruments, as well as power tools, welding equipment, and jacks.
• Maintain a high level of productivity and be able to work within or close to most standard repair times.
• Perform all work in compliance with organizational safety, health and environmental policies, and federal regulations, to include OSHA, EPA, and DOT.
• Participate and complete all-in company required safety training.

• Minimum 1 years’ experience as a Trailer Technician or related position.
• Training in repair of hydraulic lift gates preferred
• Knowledge of trailer air systems and wiring.
• Welding experience preferred
• Valid Driver’s License required. CDL-A preferred but not required.
• High School Diploma or and equivalent combination of education is a plus but not required.
• Must provide own hand tools that are adequate to perform job functions.
• Positive attitude, Safety conscious, good instincts, and self-motivation
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to balance a variety of tasks.
• A detail oriented and the ability to meet deadlines.
• A commitment to safety and strong customer service skills.
