Responsibilities
This position is responsible for maintaining and operating equipment in the manufacturing of poultry feed.
The successful candidate will have experience with machinery and equipment operation and maintenance.
They will also be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Dismantling machines and moving machinery and equipment.
- Training as a mill operator.
- Assembling and installing equipment such as shafts, conveyors, and pelleting equipment.
- Performing preventive maintenance work on all equipment.
- Cleaning, lubricating, and repairing shafts, bearings, and other parts of machinery.
- Routinely performing welding, adjustment, and component replacement of milling equipment.
- Providing timely completion of all repairs.
- Performing inspections as required.
- Keeping accurate, organized records of work performed.
