A Day in the Life:
As our Procurement Administrator, your mornings might start with a quick review of the day's incoming deliveries, ensuring critical components are en route for upcoming installations. By mid-morning, you're liaising with a trusted vendor to resolve a shipment delay, making sure no production schedules are disrupted. Each interaction reinforces the trust and partnerships you've built, making you the linchpin of our operations. At the end of the day, you're confident every team member has what they need to deliver on California Closets' promise of Practical Magic.

What You’ll Do:
Expedite and track purchase orders from various suppliers, ensuring timely deliveries.
Communicate with vendors via phone, email, and FTP sites to confirm shipping dates and resolve any issues.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendor representatives.
Use CRM and Inventory Management software to track orders, refresh vendor information, and maintain accuracy in Monday.com.
Collaborate with the Purchasing Coordinator to manage purchase orders and execute non-inventory requisitions as needed.
Provide regular updates to the team on delivery schedules and ensure work order components are complete.
Process credit card authorizations as requested/approved.
Able to learn skills to buy products to support Non-Inventory Requisitions.
Perform administrative tasks to support the department.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: 1-2 years in administrative roles (procurement or vendor relations experience preferred).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with inventory systems like Sortly or similar tools.
Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with a positive and professional attitude.
Growth Potential: This role provides a strong foundation in our products and processes, offering the potential to advance into a Pre-Production Engineer position. By gaining expertise in our system construction and CAD software, you could take on this exciting next step in your career within just a few years.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, walk upstairs, and remain seated or standing for extended periods.
Education: High School Diploma required; some college preferred.
