Under the supervision of the Material & Stores Supervisor II, CF, the Materials and Stores Supervisor I, is responsible for performing a variety of duties associated with the operation of the Inmate Clothing and Institution Linens Program.
Processing Inmate Clothing and Institution Linens: Responsible for the receipt, storage, and issuance of a large volume of Inmate Clothing and Institution Linens for a point-of-use warehouse facility for Folsom State Prison (FSP). Processes orders (Std. 115) for Inmate Clothing and Institution Linens. Submits orders to the Clothing Warehouse, located at the Maintenance Warehouse. Fills Folsom State Prison orders consistent with operational guidelines governing the quantity, item, and distribution location. Reviews the accuracy of each order before distribution. Coordinates the assembly and delivery of Institution Linens with the Receiving and Release Unit. Sorts clean laundry bags to be returned to the housing units.
Storing Inmate Clothing and Institution Linens: Maintains an adequate supply of inmate clothing and institution linens required for the daily operation of FSP. Assembles and bundles inmate clothing and institution linens for all inmate arrivals according to documents prepared and submitted by the Receiving and Release Unit. Stores inmate clothing and institution linens until requested by the housing units or Receiving and Release Unit. Logs the receipt of all inmate clothing and institution linens. Completes inmate clothing and institution linen cards. Files completed cards.
