Description :
Under direction, performs advanced and specialized professional duties in the design, development, evaluation, programming, testing, implementation, and maintenance of geographic information systems (GIS), networks, and applications across multiple platforms; troubleshoots and resolves complex system, network, and application problems; may supervise other professional staff and coordinate a complex departmental GIS program.
Qualifications :
- Experience : Two years as a Senior Geographic Information Systems Analyst in San Joaquin County.
- Education : Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in geography, geographic information systems, computer science, information systems, economics, engineering, architecture, environmental science, mathematics, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience : Five years of increasingly responsible professional analytical computer and related systems work in a geographic information systems environment.
