Under general supervision the Web Production Specialist is responsible for the organization, presentation, and optimization of content on the company's website. This role ensures that all website content is strategically arranged to enhance user experience, improve navigation, and effectively communicate the brand's message. The specialist will focus on optimizing content for search engines, maintaining consistency with brand guidelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the content aligns with marketing and product objectives. Also, the specialist will assist other team members, including department partners with the project management of content development and publishing in print and web formats.
Responsibilities:
Webpage Management: Oversee the structure and organization of webpages, ensuring they are user-friendly and visually appealing. Implement best practices for site navigation, functionality, and usability.
Content Management: Regularly update and maintain website content, including text, images, videos, and interactive elements. Ensure all content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with brand guidelines.
SEO Optimization: Optimize website content for search engines to improve visibility and drive organic traffic.
Website Content Layout: Design and implement effective content layouts for the company website, ensuring an intuitive and engaging user experience.
Project management: Ensure content development is completed on time and delivered to appropriate teams for publishing in print or on the web.
Content Strategy: Assist in developing and implementing content strategies that support marketing campaigns and business objectives.
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, design, and development teams to ensure cohesive and effective content across all digital platforms including social media.
Analytics and Reporting: Monitor website and social media performance using analytics tools. Generate reports and provide insights to guide content strategy and improve user engagement.
A/B Testing: Conduct A/B testing on website content and layouts to determine the most effective strategies for user engagement and conversion.Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Digital Media, Computer Science, or Graphic Design or 5 years of experience in web production and digital media management.
5 years of experience managing web pages in a deadline-driven production environment.
Skills: Strong communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficient in proofreading (grammar, spelling and punctuation).
Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of production, analytical and project management software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Excel, Airtable, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Avid, WordPress or other content management systems, etc).
Previous experience working in a fast paced environment with multiple deadlines daily.
Comprehensive understanding of user experience (UX) and the ability to create engaging content that aligns with the company's brand and marketing goals
