About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Executive Director of Student Services to join our team at CalWest Educators Placement. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting the integration process for students receiving special services, working closely with the leadership team to hire, mentor, and train LS Faculty and Staff, and consulting on enrollment decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of student-centered schedules and learning profiles.
- Design, deliver, and support professional development opportunities for teachers.
- Contribute to curriculum design, inventory, and implementation, ensuring instructional excellence in the least restrictive environment.
- Support the quality of teaching and learning through specific teaching strategies, including special education, executive function, and other modalities.
- Foster robust communication with teachers, parents, administrators, and counselors to support the 'whole child'.
- Organize and communicate testing accommodation logistics with administrators and teachers.
