Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide quality nursing care under the direction of a registered nurse or physician.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any deviations from normal
- Assist with patient assessments and care planning
- Perform basic nursing procedures such as wound care and specimen collection
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care
Requirements
- Possess a valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
- Proficient in various medical systems and equipment operation
- Experience in areas such as acute pain management, urgent care, and assisted living is preferred
- Knowledge of airway management, gastric lavage, and sterile processing techniques
- Ability to provide care for patients across the lifespan, including toddler care
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $24.22 - $26.59 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
