Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining safety programs and procedures.
- Support incident investigations and report findings to the Safety Manager.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Participate in safety training sessions and workshops.
- Work collaboratively with team members and staff to promote a safe working environment.
- OSHA 30 (General Industry and Construction).
- OSHA 510 certification.
- Experience working in a chemical facility or similar environment.
- High school diploma or GED (required); Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred but not required).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify safety risks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
