What are the responsibilities and job description for the Master Solar Service Technican position at CAM Solar?
Overview
CAM Solar is looking for detailed oriented Master Solar Service Technician. You will be diagnosing, repairing and replacing solar and storage systems.
Essential Duties:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair solar PV and storage systems.
- Detach and reset solar PV systems.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure proper functioning of systems.
- Swap inverters, micro-inverters and optimizers
- Complete all the necessary pictures and dispositions/updates necessary for all service calls.
Qualifications
- Prior solar experience needed.
- Ability to understand or have experience in monitoring equipment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Journeyman’s license is a required.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
- Must be able to withstand heights, climb ladders, work in confined spaces and be outside for long period in extreme temperatures.

Our San Antonio service tech was paid $150,000.00 last year. We are looking to add to our team!
