As a Technical Project Manager Intern, you will support operational service delivery and new feature development for a high-availability software system. Job Responsibilities
- Provide high quality support for operational service delivery and/or new feature development for a high-availability software system.
- Effectively triage and troubleshoot helpdesk case escalations and inquiries, with support from senior tech PMs. Answer client inquiries about system behavior and capabilities accurately. Personally make or oversee the completion of system configuration changes.
- Managing the user acceptance testing (UAT) process for 2-3 clients under supervision of a senior tech PM.
- Track UAT feedback. Create detailed Jira tickets to capture issues, including steps to reproduce, environment, and other pertinent details.
- Verify fixes once issues are fixed through configuration or code updates, prior to handoff to QA for final verification.
- Draft detailed deployment plans (under the supervision of a senior tech PM). Provide deployment support as verifier.
- Manage operational schedules under the supervision of a senior tech PM.
- Be comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously, with an ability to work well under tight timelines and have proven problem-solving capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Master's degree in progress is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical skills, and demonstrated aptitude to learn basic SQL preferred.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills, excellent team-oriented attitude, and a proactive and detail-oriented nature.
- Familiarity with software such as Jira, Confluence, TeamCity, Git, Bitbucket, and Octopus is desired.
- Some experience with software development lifecycle, general project management methods.
