Job Summary:
The Hotel Sales Coordinator supports the sales team by handling administrative tasks, coordinating events, and ensuring smooth communication between clients and hotel departments. This role plays a crucial part in maximizing revenue, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team in managing leads, proposals, contracts, and follow-ups.
- Maintain and update sales databases, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and reports.
- Prepare sales presentations, agreements, and promotional materials.
- Handle incoming inquiries and distribute leads to the appropriate sales managers.
Event & Group Coordination
- Liaise with clients to gather details about meetings, events, and group bookings.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments (banquets, catering, front desk) to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Assist in preparing banquet event orders (BEOs) and group resumes.
Customer Service & Relationship Management
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues.
- Ensure client satisfaction by following up on bookings and events.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and event planners.
Marketing & Promotions
- Assist in developing marketing campaigns and promotional materials.
- Support social media and email marketing efforts.
- Participate in trade shows, networking events, and site visits as needed.
- Assist in producing and designing collateral used for sales campaigns
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience in hotel sales, hospitality, or administrative support.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Delphi, Salesforce).
- Knowledge of hotel operations and event planning is a plus.
