Logistix Load Coordinator & Sales Support

Description

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and facilitating the supply chain operations of our company. You will coordinate and monitor the movement of goods, ensuring that products are delivered on time and in the correct quantities. Your role will involve liaising with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to ensure smooth and efficient logistics processes. You will also be tasked with maintaining accurate records, managing inventory levels, and negotiating contracts with vendors and carriers.

• Coordinating transportation providers to ensure proper handling of full truck load and less than full truck load shipments
• Communicating effectively with vendors and customers to manage details and expectations of each shipment
• Making special arrangements as needed to ensure services meet the standards required
• Optimizing transportation costs by identifying efficient routes and utilizing effective negotiations with carriers
• Reviewing documents for shipments so that accuracy is achieved, and errors are avoided
• Building loads, tendering shipments, tracking shipments and relaying updates to appropriate parties as needed
• Compliance management so that adherence to all relevant transportation regulations and safety standards are achieved
• Closing orders and processing invoices for accurate record keeping
• Proactively develop processes that improve efficiency and organization

Salary : $48,000 - $55,000
