Job Summary
Cameron Ashley Building Products is a leading omni-channel distributor of interior & exterior building products with over 60 Distribution Centers strategically located across the United States.
We are seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive the field-sales growth of our wide array of products and services within a specific, pre-designated territory. The ideal candidate will leverage best-in-class industry and product knowledge to champion our value-add within strategically aligned customer bases.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively engage with new, existing and potential customers to establish an effective front-line sales relationship
- Effectively sell our core product categories β Insulation, Roofing, Gypsum (Drywall), and Siding
- Develop and drive strategic growth strategies to better manage relationships with customer accounts
- Utilize in-depth product knowledge and industry/geography/market awareness to successfully represent our products and services
- Develop assigned territory by utilizing strategic contacts & corresponding relationships while also targeting new opportunities
- Work with the Distribution Center Manager and Inside Sales Rep(s) to execute key account penetration and development strategies
Requirements:
- Knowledge of the building products industry and markets
- Able to understand the key aspects of selling on value as opposed to price
- Demonstrated ability to work within the dynamic and evolving sales cycle as it relates to the building products industry
- Maintains a self-directed approach to the study of new products, literature, promotions and trade publications
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience utilizing a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
