SUMMARY:

Our Guest Experience Team Members are the friendly faces and helpful assistants for our guests, playing a crucial role in enhancing their experience. This role involves managing various concierge tasks with care and attention to detail, all aimed at providing exceptional service. Key services are checking guests in and out, giving the property and tent tour, providing golf-cart transportation to the guest to and from their tent and providing to every guest message/request.

With comprehensive training in front desk operations, meal service, and general hospitality, our team members are versatile and capable of meeting our guests' diverse needs. Whether it's assisting at the front desk, ensuring an enjoyable experience, or attending to other hospitality needs, our team excels in delivering personalized service.

In addition to their service-oriented responsibilities, our team members prioritize building meaningful connections with guests while maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our campgrounds. SCHEDULE: Seasonal part time positions are available from April through October (up to 37.5 hours per week).

Sample Shift: 7 AM - 2:30 PM, 8 AM - 11:30 AM, 2:30 PM - 10 PM, 2:30 PM - 9 PM

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Successful performance in this role requires the individual to fulfill each essential duty and responsibility in a safe and satisfactory manner. The individual must exhibit punctuality and maintain a good attendance record.The qualifications below represent the knowledge, skill, and ability required for the position.

Certifications: Food Handler's Certificate.

Availability: Reliable Transportation, flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the demands of the position.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and perform tasks that may require bending, stooping, and reaching.

Professionalism: Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, representing the company in a positive manner.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to handle challenging situations with diplomacy and tact, finding effective solutions to guest inquiries or complaints.

Adaptability: Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, adjusting to changing priorities and guest needs as necessary.

Commitment to Learning: Eagerness to continue learning and staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and company policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet guests warmly during check-in and bid them a fond farewell at check-out.
  • Manage accurate records of guest arrivals and room requirements.
  • Stay updated on room rates, promotions, packages, campground calendar, and available experiences.
  • Attend pre-shift meetings and stay informed about guest lists, special requirements, events, and important notes.
  • Ensure smooth check-ins and check-outs without unnecessary delays or discomfort to guests. Providing an orientation of the campground to guests.
  • Assist guests with transporting luggage from their car to their tent using golf carts. This task includes lifting heavy luggage.
  • Safely transport guests around the property using golf carts as required.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously, adhering to our standard sequence of service. Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction with their dining experience.
  • Barista skills that include taking orders, preparing and serving coffee beverages.
  • Familiarize yourself with our food and beverage program, including ingredient sourcing and preparation methods.
  • Promptly clear and clean dishes and glassware from guest rooms and dining areas. Assist with dishwashing when necessary.
  • Report cleanliness and maintenance issues to your immediate supervisor.
  • Minimize spoilage and waste wherever possible.
  • Solicit guest feedback during their stay and upon departure, noting their preferences and dislikes.
  • Address guest complaints and concerns efficiently, proactively, and promptly.
  • Immediately escalate unresolved guest complaints to the Campground Supervisor and ensure follow-up is conducted.
  • Handle basic cashier duties as needed and maintain proficiency with our POS system.
  • Provide thorough handover to the next shift to ensure continuity of service.
  • Maintain cleanliness in public areas and service areas.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge about Camp Aramoni, surrounding towns, and competitors.
  • Fulfill any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
