May 24th, 25th, and 26th, 2025
Shifts run from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily (6 hours per day)
Pay:

Description:
Camp Lakota is hiring certified lifeguards for a 3-day private event over Memorial Day Weekend at our lakefront property in Wurtsboro, NY. Lifeguards will supervise all waterfront activities and ensure a safe environment for event guests.
You may travel to and from camp each day, or opt to stay overnight on campus (May 24th & 25th).
Responsibilities:
- Supervise swimmers and waterfront activities from 10 AM to 4 PM
- Enforce all safety rules and emergency procedures
- Provide first aid and CPR if needed
- Work closely with camp staff and fellow lifeguards to maintain safety
Qualifications:
- Current lifeguard certification (American Red Cross or equivalent)
- CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification
- Must be at least 17 years old
- Previous experience at camps or lakefronts preferred
- Reliable daily transportation OR willingness to stay overnight
