We are looking for a HOUSEKEEPING INSPECTOR with excellent cleanliness standards. The goal is to enhance customer experience by keeping our facilities in clean and orderly condition.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect all vacant ready rooms at the beginning of each day for condition and possible occupancy.
- Assist in handling guest complaints concerning housekeeping service or refer the problem to management when necessary
- Notify maintenance of any needed repairs in guest rooms and public spaces.
- List and itemize lost and found items each day and provide front desk with a daily report.
- Inspect all rooms after they have been cleaned to ensure that all policies and brand standards have been met. Ensures room is 100% ready for guest arrival.
- Approve room for occupancy and update the room status in the PMS.
- Practice safe working conditions under the Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines to include blood borne pathogens.
- Provide safe chemical handling as prescribed in MSDS sheets.
- Monitor the rooms per occupied minutes and reporting to Executive housekeeper.
- Maintain a positive, cooperative work environment between team members and management.
Qualifications and Requirements
Strong customer focus, customer service. Strong written communication skills required with an understanding and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment. Attention to detail and basic computer skills a must.
Housekeeping Experience Required.
Must be willing to work holidays and weekends. Also, must be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time as well as bend and stoop. Must be able to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds.
