Working as a Student Nurse at Romaca is more than just a summer job…it's a unique opportunity to help young girls grow into strong, independent young women. Romaca is a place to make Friends, step outside your comfort zone, grow as a person, and make memories that will last a lifetime.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to strengthen and build skills in the following areas:
Teaching/Coaching: You’ll teach/coach kids ages 6-16 with skill levels ranging from beginner to advanced.
Leadership: You’ll work with and learn from our highly experienced leadership staff. They will mentor, guide, and support you throughout your experience this summer.
Problem Solving: You'll learn valuable problem solving skills, such as how to think outside the box using spontaneity and creativity. Every day is dynamic; there’s never a dull moment at camp!
Travel: Spend your summer in what is arguably the most beautiful part of the U.S. Western Massachusetts has so many wonderful places to explore with your new friends. Friendship: Create lifelong friendships with people from all over the world.
Preferred qualities:
- Passion and enthusiasm
- Experience working with kids
- Teaching or tutoring experience.
- Great sense of fun.
