What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Daycare Attendant position at Camp Ruff n More?
Are you an independent worker, but can work well as a small team?
Are you adaptive to changes and instruction from leaders?
Can you be attentive to changes in behavior and the well being of dogs?
As part of our team here at Camp Ruff-n-More, you will be responsible for supervising a group of around 20 dogs at a time. Much of your job involves monitoring play, while being aware of various play styles and ensuring that all dogs are safe, stress free, and having fun. You will also be expected to help maintain a clean play space for the dogs by watching for, picking up, and properly disposing of any waste immediately.
We have strict hours for the shifts themselves, but flexible scheduling for days off. Reliability to show up for your shift is of the utmost importance, as we are relied on by the dogs to take care of them. We are work 365 days a year so working holidays is a must.
Shifts are:
M-F 6:55am-11:45am & 12:55pm-6pm
Saturday 7:55am-11am & 12:55pm-5pm
Sunday 7:55am-11am & 12:55pm-6pm
When training is finished, you are able to bring your dog to work with you and we offer free boarding for your own dog as well!
