- The Group Leader is the focal point for the individual camper. Our campers are grouped by gender, rising grade level, and length of camp session.
- The Group Leader is the central counselor in charge of the group. The Group Leader has the most day-to-day contact with his/her individual campers and is the person looked to as the most knowledgeable about camper personalities and group dynamics.
- The Group Leader takes a group of individual children and creates a dynamic camper community.
- Group Leaders guide their campers through the daily schedule, assist and support Activity Counselors at activities, and assist/teach on the waterfront when the group is at swimming.
- Leadership, management, organization, attention to detail, and enthusiasm are all requisite skills for this position.
Location and Commitments:
Seasonal Full-Time beginning June 26th-August 18th
Hours are 8 am - 4:15 pm

Candidate requirements
Experience teaching and experience with classroom/group management
Applicants must be 18 years or older
Experience working with children aged 4-15
Communication, flexibility and patience are a must
