Currently, we are seeking an Experiential Marketing/Motorsports – Account Executive with a background in marketing and event management to join our dedicated team.

The ideal candidate is curious about the industry with a drive to succeed, a collaborative mindset and the initiative to keep projects moving even when the unexpected arises. The Account Executive is also responsible for day-to-day contact with clients and for implementation of client activities and projects under the supervision of a Senior Account Executive or above.

This is a hybrid role and requires up to 3 days a week on site in Dearborn, MI.

General Summary:

This position supports our high-profile Sports Car and Off-Road Racing clients and plays a critical role in executing at-track activations, developing creative marketing strategies, and managing the full scope of event logistics. From concept to execution, you’ll collaborate with our internal teams and external vendors to deliver standout experiences at the track and beyond.

The responsibilities of this role include program management (40%) and program support (60%). Travel, including weekends and some evenings, is required.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support senior staff in research, planning, and implementation of client activities, especially focused on sports car and off-road racing programs.
  • Take the initiative in moving projects forward, and anticipating next steps, solving problems proactively, and adapting quickly in a fast-moving environment, often with minimal direction.
  • Oversee or execute event logistics, including vendor coordination, on-site setup and strike, and event staff supervision.
  • Serve as a welcoming and professional host for clients and guests at racing events—representing the brand with enthusiasm and authenticity.
  • Assist in developing creative marketing concepts tailored to the motorsport’s audience and event opportunities.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring accurate tracking and reconciliation of program costs.
  • Coordinate and attend planning meetings, develop agendas, and ensure clear communication between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Write business correspondence and client communications with clarity, professionalism, and personality.
  • Completes additional duties as assigned.
  • Adheres to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and all other company policies, procedures, and processes.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • A self-starter! Someone that is proactive, takes ownership of their programs and can work well independently.
  • Strong writing and proofreading skills, along with a high level of accuracy for all projects.
  • Creative problem-solving skills – solution oriented and forward thinking, often times with minimal direction.
  • 2 years of experience in event marketing, brand activations, or experiential promotions. Motorsports experience is a major plus!
  • Experience with Contest & Incentive programs and/or B2B sales promotions.
  • Ability to work on a variety of types of programs including, but not limited to motorsports, trade shows, diversity-based programs, and outdoor festivals.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, while being adaptable in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Exhibits strong interpersonal communication skills necessary to build and maintain client relations and build project teams.
  • Ability to utilize personal strengths and weaknesses to advance competency and grow professionally.
  • Strong organizational, budgeting and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated desire to remain current with trends and technology in the marketing arena.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
  • Experience: At least two years of relevant professional experience.
  • Work Environment (with or without reasonable accommodation):
    • Will require travel and/or weekend and evening hours.
    • Ability to lift event supplies up to 50lbs.
    • Ability to safely operate golf carts.
    • Ability to assist with vehicle transport, which may include driving, manually maneuvering, or positioning vehicles for display purposes.
    • Physical work environment to include: indoor work, as well as outdoor work at various venues and racetracks. May include working in inclement weather conditions.
    • May involve physical activities such as bending, kneeling, lifting, climbing, as well as standing and/or walking for extended periods of time during event setup and throughout the program. Physical needs may also include working at elevated heights for event set up and strike.

Additional Information:

  • The company is currently working on a hybrid basis; 2-3 days in the office (Dearborn, MI) will be required.
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record required
