What you will be doing...
- Work with commercial, Medicare, and specialty claims.
- Expertly file and collect insurance claims.
- Analyze billing information to make sure claims are accurate and complete.
- Manage electronic patient financial data, claim filing, and practice management software packages.
- Work to collect accounts in arrears in a time-sensitive manner.
- Actively communicate with providers, patients, and staff members regarding coding and billing questions.
- Claim creation, submission, and receivable follow-up for all patient claims
- Confirm eligibility and communicate with patients about their insurance plans
- Review and posting EOBs.
- Collect payments from patients.
- Work with an awesome and tight-knit medical team.

Requirements
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certification in insurance/billing program or equivalent is preferred.
Essential Job-related Experience:
- One (1) to Two (2) years experience as a billing clerk in the medical field or equivalent
- Familiarity with computer operations and software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
