Systems Engineer – Territory (Lombardia, Veneto, Trentino)
About the Role
As a Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Territory Account Managers across Lombardia, Veneto, and Trentino. You’ll help secure customer success by delivering tailored, industry-leading cybersecurity solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive technical success throughout the sales cycle, from RFIs to RFPs and POCs, collaborating with internal and customer teams.
- Understand customer needs and craft solutions that outperform competitors.
- Act as the technical point of contact for customers and partners, working closely with your sales counterpart.
- Stay up-to-date with Fortinet’s product suite and the competitive landscape, delivering solutions that adapt to evolving cybersecurity threats.
- Present Fortinet solutions effectively, using whiteboarding, technical papers, and discussions, both remotely and on-site.
- Manage multiple deals simultaneously, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
- Keep accurate records in Salesforce, maintaining visibility into account activities and technical requirements.
Your Profile
- Expertise in cybersecurity technologies, including encryption, authentication, network security, and intrusion detection. Knowledge of routing, switching, LAN/WAN, and CISSP accreditation is a plus.
- Proven experience in pre-sales engineering, managing technical aspects of deals from initiation to closure.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of contributing to key wins.
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships while communicating technical solutions to diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with technologies and protocols such as IPSEC, SSL, PKI, FIREWALL, and more.
