Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Executive Housekeeper to oversee the housekeeping department of our esteemed establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in housekeeping management within the hospitality industry, ensuring that our facilities maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage a team effectively while also being involved in day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all housekeeping activities to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures that adhere to industry standards for quality and safety.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels while adhering to budgetary constraints.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
• Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain records related to housekeeping activities, including staff schedules, inspections, and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in housekeeping supervision within the hospitality sector or related fields such as industrial cleaning or custodial services.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and staff.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb stairs, bend, reach above shoulders, kneel, twist, and grip items.
• Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk frequently and for long periods of time.
• Must be able to respond to visual and auditory cues (telephone, radio, computer)
• Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Aility to lift and carry objects weighing an average of 25-50 pounds.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
