Qualities/Skills required:
Excellent customer service skills - ability to communicate directly with clients, both written and orally, about their dog. Work to make “lifetime clients”.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Data entry skills
Typing proficiency
Strong organization Skills - Must be able to multitask and be detailed oriented. Must be able to start and stop work.
Experience with appointment scheduling
Ability to handle multi-line phone systems
Previous administrative experience is required
Must be able to work under conditions that require sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing and grasping.
Good team work and willingness to assist other departments as necessary
Cheerful, friendly, positive team-oriented attitude
Must be Reliable, punctual, and dependable
Must be able to work weekends and afternoon shifts Mon- Friday 1-7 pm; Saturday 7:30 am to 4:15 pm, Sunday 7:30 am to 2:15 pm
Must have own reliable transportation
Ability to take direction well and apply it independently
Safely handle dogs of all size
Attendance and punctuality is a must
Responsibilities/Expectations:
Provide impeccable customer service. You will ensure that each customer is treated with respect and dignity in order to develop and maintain strong relationships.
Answer all incoming calls, respond to voicemails, emails and texts.
Make boarding reservations; temperament test appointments, daycare reservations and grooming appointments.
Checking in and checking out guests following established processes
Manage cash and credit card transactions; reporting/reconciling
Interact and communicate closely with other staff and management to ensure client and dog's needs and concerns are understood and addressed.
Have knowledge of all services offered at site and be able to provide solutions to the clients needs.
Obtain vaccination records and input into the computer.
Print daily reports
Prepare for next business day provided services
Ensure the facility meets or exceeds expectations with regards to cleanliness and safety.
Notify management when office supplies are low
Ensure all common areas (lobby and employee spaces) are well maintained, clean and free from hazards such as wet floors, hairs, urine, etc.
Assist in cleaning duties
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
