Summary
The US Technical Lead will drive technical excellence and innovation across our US operations, leading QC initiatives, managing complex formulation projects, and developing our technical team. This role bridges hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and mentor the US technical team across multiple locations
· Drive quality control processes and continuous improvement initiatives
· Oversee water-based coating formulation projects and new product development
· Ensure ISO compliance and maintain quality management systems
· Collaborate with global technical teams on standardization efforts
· Interface with key customers on technical requirements and solutions
· Manage resource allocation across multiple technical projects
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
· 10 years experience in paint/coatings industry
· Proven expertise in water-based formulations
· Demonstrated leadership experience in technical operations
· Strong understanding of ISO standards and quality systems
· Experience managing multiple technical projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
· Advanced degree in Chemistry or related field
· Paint/coatings laboratory management experience
· Six Sigma certification
· Experience with automotive or industrial coatings

Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
