Cannabis Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Cannabis Dispensary Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dispensary. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in horticulture, particularly in greenhouse management, and possess excellent leadership skills to guide our team in providing exceptional customer service and product knowledge. This role requires a passion for the cannabis industry, along with the ability to manage inventory, ensure compliance with regulations, and foster a positive environment for both employees and customers.

Duties

• Manage all aspects of dispensary operations, including staffing, training, and scheduling.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and tracking products.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies regarding cannabis sales and operations.
• Provide guidance on product selection and educate staff on cannabis strains, effects, and uses.
• Maintain a clean and organized dispensary environment that enhances customer experience.
• Implement marketing strategies to promote products and increase customer engagement.
• Monitor sales performance and develop strategies for improvement.
• Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, address concerns, and foster teamwork.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of greenhouse management practices and plant care techniques.
• Proficient in plant identification with an understanding of various cannabis strains.
• Experience with heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with inventory management.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts.
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance or farm operations is a plus.
• Ability to irrigate plants effectively while managing water resources efficiently.
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment used in the dispensary or growing processes.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
