Job Summary |
The Consumer Marketing Manager reports to the Director of Consumer Marketing and is responsible for him/her by managing different projects and internal clients and/or markets in developing and implementing marketing strategies in his/her assigned region. He/she develops and manages a variety of marketing campaigns designed to help with member acquisition and retention in the respective markets. This position will collaborate with different departments to ensure strategies and tactics are implemented to realize our growth objectives. We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills, savvy technical skills, and a passion for customer marketing.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities |
- Act as the key driver and liaison contact with regional markets and/or internal clients/stakeholders for growth initiatives, to prepare, present and execute marketing and promotional campaigns, as needed
- Partner with the regional teams/business units to manage the success of marketing initiatives
- Develop impactful promotional concepts for our demographic considering regional and growth projects’ needs, while adhering to corporate marketing guidelines and standards
- Compile and share regional demographic information to shape development of marketing plans
- Identify and activate new strategic marketing partners to enhance regional and growth projects’ branding
- Constantly review and update tracking of competitors, identifying potential opportunities for differentiation
- Support corporate sales team and outreach for their respective regional initiatives and growth projects’ impact
- Coordinate with different stakeholders to successfully execute marketing campaigns inclusive of, but not limited to, advertising, media events & PR and content creation, jointly with regional teams and internal clients
- Compile advertising settlement documents as needed for local events and manage respective administrative process with vendors and internal departments
- Work with internal stakeholders to provide post campaigns/initiatives analytics recaps
- Coordinate with Core marketing team, and/other marketing teams the media placements for campaigns (Radio, e-mail, TV etc.) for the different markets
- Support / conduct consumer research and PR and respective digital review of markets and growth projects, to create and update respective personas, when applicable. Share with different stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Outreach, Human Resources) to make sure that the regional differences are considered and applied for successful strategies
- Maintain relation with health insurance plans marketing counterparts, for designing and implementing cost-share initiatives, keeping track of market value
- Responsible for ensuring that regional markets’ / business units’ services and offering information is accurately reflected in brochures, ads, publication articles, news releases, Web sites, presentations, and other material to support our presence in the market.
- Curate sets of actionable insights through analysis of the research collection to find patterns, themes, and universal issues and opportunities.
- Collaborate with Core Marketing team to conceptualize and build business cases for new strategies
- Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned
- Assists in preparing standardized and ad-hoc reports
- Recommend new initiatives that positively impact revenue, retention and advocacy metrics

Education & Experience |
Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing or related field. Experience with an Advertising agency
Knowledge, Skills & Proficiencies |
Microsoft Office Suite, fluency in English and Spanish.
Tools & Equipment Used |
Computer and peripherals, standard and customized software applications and tools, and usual office equipment.
Physical Requirements/Working Environment |
This position works under usual office conditions. The employee is required to work at a personal computer as well as be on the phone for extended periods of time. Must be able to stand, sit, walk and occasionally climb. The incumbent must be able to work extended and flexible hours and weekends as needed. Physical demands include ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
