Canopy Brands is seeking a motivated individual to join as a Recruiting Specialist to support the People Team in sourcing and finding the best talent for our family of brands at different locations across the nation. WHAT THE ROLE DOES:
- Post job openings according to current needs using different applicant tracking systems.
- Source applicants and screen resumes based on the job descriptions for each open position.
- Conduct phone screens/interviews to assess skills related to the open position for exempt and nonexempt open positions.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and ensure follow up discussions are had post interview.
- Communicate with supervisors to understand current and future recruiting needs.
- Support our Recruiting Director in revising and updating job descriptions, as well as communicating all pertinent information and recap on a weekly basis.
- Support our VP People in select administrative and onboarding tasks.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
- Associates degree or higher preferred.
- 3-5 years of recruiting experience required.
- Fluency with Microsoft Office programs, specifically Word and Outlook.
- Strong Interpersonal and organizational skills required.
- Local to Orlando, FL area or willing to relocate.
- Hybrid schedule- 2-3 days in Altamonte Springs office
- Travel required for company visits monthly and to corporate events.
- Highly ethical, positive culture addition, self-motivated.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
