- Process invoices in a timely manner.
- Verify accuracy of invoices, ensuring proper documentation and approval.
- Manage vendor relationships and address any inquiries or issues.
- Prepare and process payments, including checks and electronic transfers.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Maintain organized records of accounts payable transactions.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of ageing reports as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- Proven experience in accounts payable or a related field.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
