The Inventory Control Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate execution of all Inventory Control processes for their assigned team, guaranteeing compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform inventory counts in adherence to company policy
- Investigate and rectify discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of inventories
- Supervise all inventory processes, staff performance, development, root cause analysis, and reporting for the assigned team
- Regularly conduct cycle counts of product inventories
- Oversee physical inventory for clients, including training, audits, and feedback
- Lead projects and manage the completion of daily reports and feedback logs
- Act as the first point of contact for safety concerns and notify client services of damaged/defective products
- Coordinate and align with various departments during inventory processes
- Train other employees in inventory management
- Coordinate with peers and across multiple departments for additional resources, information, and equipment when needed
- Establish trusted relationships with operations to ensure quality service to clients
Qualifications / Skills:
- 7 years of experience in retail or distribution center operations, with leadership experience, emphasizing Inventory/Quality Control
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Proficiency in administrative/clerical software, inventory management software, Microsoft applications, intermediate-advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
