GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide instruction for EMT Basic course and/or Paramedic course.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
- Assist the Instructor Coordinator with course lectures practical labs.
- Assist with course make-up and review sessions.
- Assist with additional EMT and/or Paramedic class needs and preparation.
Job Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current state of Massachusetts EMT or Paramedic Certification.
- Ability to perform all skills associated with the course correctly, efficiently, and with proficiency.
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate Degree.
- Professional development in teaching at the community college level.
- Experience using evidence-based strategies to support student success including frequent communication and active learning.
- Teaching experience using learning systems to support and improve instruction.
- CPR, ACLS, PALS and NAEMT Instructor certification.

Additional Information:
COMPENSATION: $60.37 per hour, up to 18 hours per week. Part-time, Non-benefited MCCC Unit position.
