Your role
As a Senior Manufacturing & Process Engineer, you will be at the helm of driving world-class performance within our ambitious projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Engaging and collaborating directly with functional business collaborators.
- Implementing and configuring Siemens MOM (including OpCenter, Mendix, APS, Connect MOM, and OpCenter Intelligence).
- Ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting, as well as training and knowledge transfer to our internal teams.
- Analyzing information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems.
- Consulting with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces.
- Working with customers or departments on technical issues, including system design and maintenance.
- Leading the third-party system integration team to complete tasks in the backlog effectively, address bugs, coordinate system testing, build technical documentation, and resolve issues promptly.
- Ensuring strong Agile practices are followed, managing the team’s velocity, and tracking performance.
- Collaborating closely with functional area leads to intake and prioritize backlogs, ensuring the development team is well-positioned to meet their needs.
- Owning the resolution of critical issues and blockers within the team, ensuring the team is passionate about delivering high-priority work.
- Coordinating the management of the integration team's backlog, facilitating backlog grooming and sprint planning sessions with collaborators.
Your skills and experience
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following:
- Proven proficiency in Siemens Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), specifically OpCenter Intelligence.
- Strong functionality dependencies between Logistics & Production Control and between Quality & Manufacturing.
- Ability to work through other resources for prioritization.
- Outstanding project management skills, with the ability to engage with the business, gather requirements, and lead the development team effectively.
