What are the responsibilities and job description for the Siemens Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) Consultant with OpCenter Intelligenc position at MASS Tech LLC?
Siemens MOM Implementation & Technical Expertise:
- Lead the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Siemens MOM solutions (OpCenter, Mendix, APS, Connect MOM, OpCenter Intelligence).
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues while ensuring optimal performance.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
- Analyze technical requirements and recommend system improvements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate software-hardware integration.
Team Leadership & Performance Management:
- Manage and oversee the third-party system integration team, ensuring efficient execution of the backlog, bug resolution, system testing, and technical documentation.
- Drive team performance to maintain efficiency, meet project timelines, and ensure continuous improvement.
Agile Development & Metrics Management:
- Implement Agile best practices to manage sprint progress, backlog health, and development efficiency.
- Monitor key Agile metrics, including velocity, sprint delivery, and work buffer management.
- Ensure a smooth workflow and continuous optimization of the development cycle.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Backlog Prioritization:
- Work closely with functional leaders to intake, prioritize, and manage backlog items.
- Align development priorities with business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Facilitate backlog grooming and sprint planning sessions to maintain alignment between technical teams and business needs.
Problem-Solving & Issue Resolution:
- Own the resolution of critical system issues and blockers to ensure timely delivery of high-priority work.
- Proactively address bottlenecks and escalate issues as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience with Siemens MOM solutions (OpCenter, Mendix, APS, Connect MOM, OpCenter Intelligence) – Mandatory.
- Strong background in manufacturing and/or supply chain domain.
- Experience managing Agile development teams, backlog management, and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with technical troubleshooting, system design, and maintenance.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage business stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to lead and mentor teams while ensuring adherence to best practices and project timelines.
