What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse-Mobile Crisis Team position at Capital Area Human Services?
The Mobile Crisis Team B-Registered Nurse conducts primary care screening and monitoring of key health indicators and health risk, which is one of the nine core services provided by CCBHCs. Documents activities in the electronic health record. Provides individual and group health teaching. Gathers information about client's
past and current physical and mental status. Observes clients for changes in physical and/or mental status or behavior and reports significant changes. Implements the nursing care plan, i.e., comfort, hygiene, safety measures, nutrition, etc. Takes vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. Obtains specimens for laboratory testing. Administers oral and parenteral medication as prescribed. Assists physicians and midlevel prescribers with routine examinations and treatments. Transcribes orders, records medications, and documents client's condition. Administers cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and/or automated external defibrillator (AED) interventions in emergency situations. Applies dressings, ointments, and other treatments for basic first aid when needed. Requests stock drugs, medications, and medical supplies as warranted.
