Position Description

Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Answering and directing inbound calls for the Capital Blue Cross main telephone number.
- Review, process and approve Member Authorization Forms (MAF)
- Data entry for approved form into MAF Database
- Make outbound call for missing information on MAF
- Handle follow-up requests for outbound calls
- Review and update written procedures for both MAF and Telephone Operator tasks
- Cross-training for telephone operator back-up, as needed
