Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to meet the business stakeholders’ needs.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and document visualization requirements, ensuring dashboards and reports align with business needs and objectives.
- Employ design principles in the development of dashboards and visualizations, aiming for clarity, user-friendliness, and impactful data presentation.
- Proactively engage with users to refine and iterate on visualizations based on feedback, usability testing, and evolving business questions.
- Answer business questions through ad-hoc reporting and data analysis, providing insights and recommendations to inform strategic decisions.
- Design and develop data tables and stored procedures to support efficient reporting and analytics.
- Automate the transformation of manual data sets to increase efficiency and accuracy in data handling.
- Perform rigorous quality control on all data, visualizations, and reports to ensure accuracy, reliability, and consistency across all outputs.
- Providing training and support to end users on using Power BI.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and trends.
Skills
- Skilled in designing, building, and maintaining data tables to support reporting and analytics.
- Must be proficient with Power BI and other Data Visualization tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex data into understandable and actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Outstanding analytical skills with the capacity to adapt to changing priorities and projects.
- Passion for storytelling through data and a keen eye for detail in data visualization design.
Experience
- 5 years of experience in data visualization, data analysis, or a related field, with a proven track record of creating impactful dashboards and reports using Power BI.
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
- Power BI certifications are a plus
