Position Description

Base pay is influenced by several factors including a candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, and anticipated contributions to meet the needs of the business, along with internal pay equity and external market driven rates. The salary range displayed has not been adjusted for geographical location. Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to meet the business stakeholders’ needs.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and document visualization requirements, ensuring dashboards and reports align with business needs and objectives.
• Employ design principles in the development of dashboards and visualizations, aiming for clarity, user-friendliness, and impactful data presentation.
• Proactively engage with users to refine and iterate on visualizations based on feedback, usability testing, and evolving business questions.
• Answer business questions through ad-hoc reporting and data analysis, providing insights and recommendations to inform strategic decisions.
• Design and develop data tables and stored procedures to support efficient reporting and analytics.
• Automate the transformation of manual data sets to increase efficiency and accuracy in data handling.
• Perform rigorous quality control on all data, visualizations, and reports to ensure accuracy, reliability, and consistency across all outputs.
• Providing training and support to end users on using Power BI.
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and trends.

Skills

• Skilled in designing, building, and maintaining data tables to support reporting and analytics.
• Must be proficient with Power BI and other Data Visualization tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex data into understandable and actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Outstanding analytical skills with the capacity to adapt to changing priorities and projects.
• Passion for storytelling through data and a keen eye for detail in data visualization design.

Experience

• 5 years of experience in data visualization, data analysis, or a related field, with a proven track record of creating impactful dashboards and reports using Power BI.

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Power BI certifications are a plus

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently required to sit, use hands and fingers, talk, hear, and see. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 5 pounds.
